Perinne Old Blue

Chester FabricF4850-04

Perinne in Old Blue has a pale, muted blue-grey ground with a delicate allover geometric weave. The small repeating motif reads softly rather than boldly, giving the fabric a calm, refined surface.

About this fabric

Woven in a 40% linen, 38% cotton, 18% viscose and 4% polyester blend, Perinne has the natural slub and gentle softness you would expect from a linen-led cloth. The 140cm width and approximate vertical repeat of 6cm and horizontal repeat of 7cm make it practical for both upholstery and drapery use. In this Old Blue colourway, the pattern sits in a cool, misted blue tone with a slightly silvery cast, so the tiny geometric details show up quietly across the surface. It feels understated and composed rather than crisp, which suits schemes that need colour without strong contrast. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are specified for this fabric.

How to use it

Use it on a club chair, dining seats or Roman blinds where the small-scale pattern can add texture without taking over. Its cool old-blue cast pairs especially well with chalky whites, weathered oak and deeper navy accents.

A quietly elegant blue that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or lined curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
