Fern Tree Blue

Chilgrove FabricF4883-03

Fern Tree Blue shows a crisp, airy botanical on a pale ground, with fern-like stems and leaves in layered blues and natural accents. The design feels fresh and decorative, with enough contrast to make the pattern read clearly from across a room.

About this fabric

This Chilgrove fabric by Colefax and Fowler is woven in a 75% Linen, 25% Acrylic composition and measures approximately 128cm wide, with a vertical repeat of about 65cm and a horizontal repeat of about 64cm. In this colourway, the pattern sits on an ivory ground and mixes powder blue, denim blue, sage grey and warm tan notes, giving the design a cool-but-not-cold character. The printed effect has a light, painterly quality, with the fern forms appearing delicate rather than dense. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Fern Tree Blue for curtains, Roman blinds or relaxed bedroom upholstery where the soft blue and neutral tan details can lift a pale scheme. It pairs well with chalky whites, driftwood tones and washed grey-green accents.

Best for curtains or decorative upholstery where the airy fern pattern can read clearly.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
