Fern Tree Green

Chilgrove FabricF4883-01

Fern Tree Green brings the Chilgrove leaf pattern to life in a crisp, natural palette of fern, sage and soft olive against an ivory ground. The print reads airy rather than dense, with the foliage motif spreading across the cloth in a lively, open repeat.

About this fabric

Chilgrove in Fern Tree Green is a fabric with a distinctly botanical character, set on a pale ivory background that makes the layered fern fronds and slender stems feel fresh and legible. The colourway combines grassy green, muted sage and touches of cooler blue-green, giving the design a cool, spring-like tone rather than a heavy forest shade. Its repeat is approx. V 65cm / H 64cm and the width is approx. 128cm, so the larger-scale leaf trails have room to show their full shape across the cloth. Woven in 75% Linen and 25% Acrylic, it has the natural look of linen with a little added practicality for everyday use.

How to use it

Use Fern Tree Green where you want a room to feel bright, leafy and slightly tailored, especially on statement curtains, loose covers or accent cushions. The pale ground and cool greens work well with painted woodwork, rattan, oak and simple neutral upholstery.

Fresh enough for curtains, grounded enough for cushions and tailored upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fern Tree Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
