Hampden Leaf Green

Chester FabricF4852-04

Hampden Leaf Green brings a quiet, leafy freshness to the Chester design, with slim vertical striping that reads crisp and orderly across the cloth. The colour sits in a pale, muted green rather than a strong herb tone, giving the weave a soft, airy presence.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a delicate leaf green ground with lighter woven detailing that lifts the stripe without making it feel busy. The fabric is 145cm wide approx and is composed of 35% Linen, 28% Viscose, 20% Polyester and 17% Cotton, so it has a natural-looking body with a smoother finish than a purely rustic linen. The vertical repeat of V 3cm / H 5cm approx creates a fine, regular rhythm that feels tailored and understated. With its smart, lightly textured surface and √BM fire code, it is well suited to polished interiors where a subtle pattern is wanted rather than a bold statement.

How to use it

Use this soft green with painted timber, pale oak and off-white trims for a calm, fresh room. It would look especially elegant on upholstered chairs, pelmets or curtains in a conservatory, drawing room or study.

A fresh, refined green that works neatly on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hampden Leaf Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
