Moray Raspberry is a richly coloured woven upholstery fabric, combining a deep raspberry-red tone with a finely textured surface. Irregular pale yarn details give the cloth gentle depth without introducing a formal printed motif.

About this fabric

The dense surface shows fine vertical and crosswise yarn variation, creating a softly mottled raspberry red that shifts subtly as it catches the light. Its 509 gsm weight gives the cloth a substantial, upholstery-suitable handle. With a 139 cm usable width and a 40 m standard length, it offers generous scope for seating projects. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, so there is no motif to match across panels.

How to use it

Use this muted raspberry-red cloth to bring depth to an armchair, sofa or dining seat, where its tactile weave can carry the colour without a separate pattern. The fine linear texture also gives tailored upholstery a quietly crafted finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
