Florenzo Claret

Tuscany Book Collection FabricFLORENZO

Florenzo Claret is a deep, wine-toned plain with a subtle woven texture that reads smooth and refined in the swatch. The colour is dark and saturated, with a warm burgundy depth that feels tailored rather than bright.

About this fabric

Part of the Tuscany Book Collection by Ashley Wilde, Florenzo Claret is composed of 54% Polyester, 36% Viscose and 10% Linen. It is specified for Severe Contract Upholstery And Drapes, with a 40000 rub test, a width of 140cm and a substantial 490gsm weight (350gsm). In the image, the plain weave shows a soft, linear grain that catches the light gently, giving the claret shade a dusky, upholstered look. The finish appears even and understated, with the linen content helping the colour avoid looking flat while the viscose lends a smoother, slightly lustrous depth.

How to use it

Use this claret shade to bring warmth to a formal sofa, dining chair or banquette, where its dark red tone will sit well with walnut, brass and deep green accents. It also makes an elegant curtain fabric in rooms that need a richer, moodier colour without a strong pattern.

A rich claret with a softly woven finish, ideal for smart upholstery or elegant drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
