Florenzo Forest

Tuscany Book Collection FabricFLORENZO

Florenzo Forest is a deep olive plain with a quietly textural surface and a grounded, woodland feel. The colour reads dark and muted, with the weave catching the light just enough to reveal its natural fibres.

About this fabric

Part of Ashley Wilde’s Tuscany Book Collection, Florenzo Forest is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 40000 rub test and a substantial 490 g/linear m weight. The cloth is woven in Belgium from 54% polyester, 36% viscose and 10% linen, giving the surface a balanced finish that looks smooth from a distance but subtly slubbed up close. In this colourway, the green sits between moss and dark olive, with a restrained, earthy depth rather than a bright botanical tone. The plain style and 140 cm width make it a practical choice for larger schemes where the shade itself needs to carry the design.

How to use it

Use Florenzo Forest on a tailored sofa, banquette or dining chair to bring a calm, wooded note into the room. It also works well as drapery where the dark olive tone can frame windows without feeling heavy.

A rich olive plain with a subtle linen slub that suits tailored upholstery and full-length drapes alike.

Pairs well with

Florenzo Forest is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
