Florenzo Danube

Tuscany Book Collection FabricFLORENZO

Florenzo Danube is a soft, muted blue plain with a cool, denim-like cast and a gently nubbled woven surface. The colour reads even and subdued across the swatch, with just enough texture to stop it feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in Belgium, Florenzo Danube combines 54% polyester, 36% viscose and 10% linen in a substantial cloth that is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes. The 40000 rub test supports its use on hard-working seating, while the 140cm width makes it practical for larger upholstery runs and curtain making alike. Visually, this colourway is a restrained blue-grey with a softened, slightly washed finish, giving it a calm, tailored look rather than a bright or coastal one. The weave shows as a fine, matte texture that catches the light subtly, adding depth without obvious pattern.

How to use it

Use Florenzo Danube where you want colour that feels cool and composed, such as pared-back upholstery, Roman blinds or relaxed curtains. It sits especially well with chalky whites, pale oak and deeper navy accents.

A calm blue plain that works neatly on tailored upholstery or relaxed drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
