Loire Ink

Verona Collection FabricLOIRE

Loire Ink is a restrained, deep navy plain with a cool, softly heathered look across the weave. The surface reads matte and tightly woven, giving the colour a tailored, understated finish.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 70% cotton and 30% linen, Loire Ink combines a natural handle with the steadiness needed for light domestic upholstery, drapes and blinds. The 142cm width and 18,000 rub test make it a practical choice for coordinated seating and window treatments. Visually, this colourway sits in a dense blue-black navy rather than a bright blue, with subtle lighter threads lifting the surface and softening the depth. The plain style and visible cross-weave give it a clean, contemporary texture that feels smart without looking glossy.

How to use it

Use Loire Ink where you want a grounded dark tone that still feels textile-rich, such as tailored cushions, a bench seat or relaxed interlining curtains. It pairs especially well with warm oak, stone, brass and crisp off-white.

A versatile dark blue that feels tailored and easy to pair with pale woods, chalky neutrals or polished metal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
