Delaunay Sapphire

Visage Collection FabricDELAUNAY

Delaunay Sapphire shows a striking fan-like geometric pattern in layered sapphire and midnight blue tones. Fine pale outlines catch the light, giving the design a crisp, tailored edge against the dark ground.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Delaunay Sapphire is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 140 cm width and a 40,000 rub test rating. The fabric has a substantial handle at 295 gsm, which suits the bold repeating arch motif and helps the design hold its clean, structured lines. Visually, the colourway is a saturated deep blue with near-black shadowing between the scalloped forms, while the thin lighter tracery adds definition without softening the dramatic contrast. The result is a confident, polished geometric that reads more jewel-toned than bright, with a moody depth that feels especially refined in this exact shade.

How to use it

This sapphire colourway works well on a statement chair or banquette where the repeating arches can be seen from a distance. Pair it with brass, walnut or lacquered finishes to подчеркнуть its dark blue sheen and Art Deco feel.

Use with warm metallics and dark timbers to bring out the rich midnight-blue arches.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
