About this fabric

The dense velvet surface appears almost blue-black in its deepest areas, while the nap catches the light with softer sapphire highlights. This is a plain, semi-plain textile with no visible motif, making its colour depth the defining feature. At approximately 140cm wide, it is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a composition of 71% polyester, 17% acrylic and 12% cotton. Care is listed as Delicate Wash at 30°C or dry clean.

How to use it

Pair this cool sapphire blue with smoky grey, ink, soft lilac or warm timber for a layered scheme with depth. On a sofa, headboard or full-length curtain, its velvet sheen adds a luxe note without introducing a pattern.
