About this fabric

At 580gsm, this is a substantial fabric particularly suited to upholstery and statement seating. The 140cm usable width supports practical cutting, while the 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats allow the irregular surface to be positioned without matching a design repeat. Its azure ground shifts from brighter blue highlights to deeper, smoky areas across the textured face. Scattered blackened marks give the colourway a dramatic, painterly character rather than a uniform blue appearance.

How to use it

Use Crush Azure on a generously shaped armchair, sofa or ottoman to bring a cool, jewel-like note into the room. Pair its deep azure ground with charcoal, ink blue, smoked glass or warm timber so the near-black markings read as intentional accents.
