About this fabric

This 540 gsm velvet has a dense-looking, fine pile that creates a smooth contrast between illuminated ridges and darker valleys in the photographed drape. The Azurite colourway sits between saturated cobalt and softened navy, giving the surface both clarity and depth rather than a flat blue appearance. With a 141 cm usable width and 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats, it offers a continuous plain ground for upholstery. The substantial weight and light-catching pile make it especially well suited to upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Pair Azurite with warm timber, aged brass or pale neutral walls to balance its cool, saturated blue. On a headboard, sofa or occasional chair, let the changing pile provide the visual movement in an otherwise calm scheme.

Use this deep blue velvet on statement seating where its shifting pile can catch the light.
