About this fabric

Celestial is shown here as a cool, pale blue with a softly powdered cast, rather than a bright or saturated blue. Its close, even velvet pile creates a fine matte surface, with icy highlights where the nap catches the light and deeper blue shading in the folded troughs. The supplied 540 gsm weight and 141 cm usable width give it a substantial furnishing profile suited to upholstery. With a pattern repeat of 0 cm vertically and horizontally, the plain surface remains uninterrupted across the cloth.

How to use it

Use this cool powder-blue on a buttoned armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its softly shifting nap can catch natural light. Pair it with chalky whites, pale grey and brushed metal for an airy, contemporary scheme, or use warm timber to balance its cool tone.
