Botanist Ocean

Tahiti Collection FabricBOTANIST

Botanist Ocean sets a rich, nocturnal backdrop for the Tahiti Collection’s intertwined birds and botanicals. The deep navy ground makes the pale foliage and feathered detailing read sharply and luxuriously.

About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 100% polyester, Botanist Ocean is specified for general domestic upholstery and drapes, with a 25,000 rub test and a 134cm width. The design shows a large-scale conversational pattern of birds, branching leaves and florals worked in warm ivory, taupe and soft gold tones against a very dark blue ground. That contrast gives the fabric a crisp, decorative look while the subtle metallic feel in the print keeps it from reading flat. At 390gsm, it has enough substance for tailored soft furnishings and statement seating without losing its elegant drape.

How to use it

This colourway works beautifully in rooms with walnut, brass or antique gold accents, where the deep blue ground can anchor the scheme. Pair it with plain navy, parchment or tobacco-toned textures to let the botanical pattern stand forward.

Use it for a dramatic scheme with warm metallics and layered botanicals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
