Cockatoo Ink

Tahiti Collection FabricCOCKATOO

Cockatoo Ink sets the Tahiti Collection’s birds, leaves and fruit against a deep navy ground that feels bold and nocturnal. The print reads crisp and decorative, with the teal parrots and botanical details standing out sharply from the dark background.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric is suitable for general domestic upholstery and drapes, giving the design flexibility across soft furnishings. The 137cm width and 25,000 rub test support its use on everyday interiors, while the 534 g/linear metre weight gives it a substantial, upholstered feel. Visually, the colourway is anchored by a near-black navy ground that makes the turquoise parrots, muted green leaves and warm fruit tones appear especially vivid. The overall effect is glamorous and layered, with the contrast lending the repeating motif a confident, exotic presence.

How to use it

Use this navy colourway to add drama to a statement armchair, banquette or upholstered headboard, where the darker ground will make the bird motif read clearly. It also works well as full-length drapes in a room with brass, walnut or painted wood finishes.

The dark navy ground gives the tropical bird and botanical motif a rich, dramatic finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
