Part of the Tatton Park Collection by Ashley Wilde, this fabric is composed of 74% cotton and 26% polyester and is specified for drapes only. The 138 cm width gives good practical coverage for curtains, while the 335 g per linear metre weight suggests a substantial drapery cloth rather than a sheer. Visually, Abella Ocean shows a cool, dusty blue ground with a weathered, chalky surface effect that keeps the small-scale motif feeling relaxed rather than crisp. The repeating animal figures are picked out in a pale off-white, giving the design gentle contrast and a fresh, coastal feel without becoming stark.
