Albany Denim is a cool, deep blue woven with the informal character of washed denim. Fine pale threads form an irregular crosshatched surface, giving the colour visible variation rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This substantial fabric weighs 517 gsm, making it well suited to upholstery where its dense woven texture can be appreciated across cushions, chair backs and larger seating forms. The blue is cool and muted, with lighter vertical and horizontal threads catching across the surface to create a softly weathered, textile-like depth. With no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, the surface can be positioned freely without matching a motif. It has a 139 cm usable width and is supplied in a standard 40 m length.

How to use it

Pair Albany Denim with warm timber, aged leather and chalky neutrals to balance its cool blue tone. Its irregular pale grid works particularly well on relaxed seating where the woven texture can remain visible.

Use this substantial denim-blue weave to bring cool colour and tactile depth to upholstered seating.
