About this fabric

The close weave combines warm tan and camel tones with lighter threads that catch across the surface in an irregular, linen-like grid. At 517gsm, this is a substantial textile with the visual weight suited to upholstered seating and other hard-working soft furnishings. Its usable width is 139cm, with a 40m standard length. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0cm, so the understated woven texture can be positioned freely without matching a motif.

How to use it

Use Albany Antique to bring warmth to a sofa, dining chair or footstool, pairing its camel depth with chalky walls, pale timber and restrained olive or rust accents. The softly crossed weave also adds texture to otherwise plain, tonal schemes.

Use this warm camel-beige weave on sofas, armchairs and ottomans alongside natural wood, ivory and muted olive tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
