About this fabric

Woven in Belgium, Florenzo Stone combines 54% polyester, 36% viscose and 10% linen for a balanced handle suited to severe contract upholstery and drapes. The fabric has a reassuringly substantial weight at 490 grams per linear metre and a width of 140cm, while its 40,000 rub test underlines its hard-wearing performance. Visually, the colour reads as a warm stone beige with a subtle linen slub and a softly mottled surface that keeps the plain from looking flat. The overall effect is smart and understated, with enough texture to catch the light without becoming busy.

How to use it

This neutral stone tone sits neatly with pale oak, plaster pinks and chalky off-whites, especially where you want the fabric to feel tailored rather than severe. It is an easy choice for upholstered seating, banquettes or full-length curtains in rooms that need a calm, architectural backdrop.

A calm neutral that works beautifully across upholstery and drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
