About this fabric

Part of Ashley Wilde’s Verona Collection, this fabric is composed of 70% cotton and 30% linen, with a practical 18,000 rub test and a 142cm width. The swatch shows a matte, gently slubbed plain weave that feels calm and understated rather than crisp or polished. Its fawn tone is warm and muted, with just enough depth to avoid looking flat, and the crossweave gives the colour a dry, tactile finish. At 483 grams per linear metre, it has enough substance for light domestic upholstery as well as drapes and blinds, while still keeping a relaxed, softly tailored appearance.

How to use it

Use Loire Fawn for sofas, ottomans or bench cushions where you want a gentle neutral without stark grey tones. It also works well for relaxed curtains and Roman blinds, especially alongside timber, stone and natural linens.

A versatile warm neutral that works cleanly on upholstery or window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
