Akari Oat/Truffle

Akari Weaves FabricHAF0601-05

Akari Oat/Truffle combines a pale oat ground with softly contrasting truffle zigzags, creating a close, rhythmic woven surface. The warm neutral palette reads quietly textured in the swatch, with the darker threads adding gentle depth rather than sharp contrast.

About this fabric

This is a substantial 716 gsm woven fabric, making it well suited to upholstery and hard-working upholstered forms. Its compact zigzag pattern has a 13 cm vertical repeat and 5.3 cm horizontal repeat, producing a small-scale chevron effect across the 138.5 cm usable width. Fine interlacing is clearly visible in the image, while the 190 threads per cm specification supports the fabric’s densely made appearance. Oat beige keeps the overall colourway light and warm, with truffle-brown accents that give the surface a softly shaded, tactile character.

How to use it

Pair the warm oat ground with timber, natural stone and softly aged leather, using truffle details to echo the pattern’s darker threads. It is especially effective on a tailored armchair, dining seat or compact sofa where the small zigzag can be appreciated at close range.

Use this weighty oat-and-truffle weave on upholstery where its close zigzag texture can add warmth without overwhelming the room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Akari Oat/Truffle without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
