Akari Storm/Truffle

Akari Weaves FabricHAF0601-07

Akari Storm/Truffle combines deep storm-blue zigzags with a softly warm truffle-taupe ground. The close, rhythmic pattern has a tactile woven appearance, with the darker yarn catching the eye in broken, sharply defined chevrons.

About this fabric

The 13 cm vertical by 5.3 cm horizontal repeat forms compact rows of pointed zigzags, giving this colourway a strong graphic rhythm without relying on a large-scale motif. Its storm-blue tone reads cool and shadowed against the warmer taupe base, creating more depth than a flat neutral while remaining muted rather than bright. At 716 gsm and 190 threads per cm, the fabric has a substantial, closely constructed presence suited to upholstery. The 138.5 cm usable width gives good coverage for seating panels and tailored furniture applications.

How to use it

Pair the storm-blue and truffle-taupe contrast with warm timber, aged brass and quiet stone neutrals. On a chair or sofa, the medium-scale zigzag can provide pattern while its softened palette keeps the room composed.

Use the substantial woven weight on tailored upholstery where the storm-blue zigzag can act as a graphic focal point.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
