About this fabric

At 379gsm, this velvet has a substantial handle suited to upholstered furniture, with fine visible pile catching the light differently across each vertical band. The design is formed from broad, non-repeating vertical stripes, reflected by the supplied 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats. Its central loganberry stripe reads as a deep wine-plum, while raspberry and muted stone bands add cooler purple and taupe contrast at the edges. The 144cm usable width and 64 threads per centimetre provide the stated construction details for planning upholstery cuts.

How to use it

Use the saturated wine-plum centre on a statement armchair or sofa, then pick up the stone side bands in walls, piping or nearby upholstery. Warm timber and restrained brass will complement the colourway without competing with its strong vertical rhythm.

Use this deep berry-striped velvet on statement upholstery, balancing its saturated centre with stone-toned walls or timber.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
