About this fabric

This 88% cotton, 12% polyester velvet is woven with closely packed, teardrop-like scallops that create an almost feathered surface across the red and green ground. Warm rust and copper notes brighten the pattern, while near-black and brown accents add definition and make the overall colourway feel deep rather than vivid. The fabric is 128 cm wide, with a 46 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 64 cm horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with professional dry cleaning required; it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use this red-and-green colourway on a buttoned armchair, headboard or loose cover where its small-scale pattern can read as texture from a distance. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and muted olive or rust accents to draw out the velvet’s earthy depth.
