End Paper Velvet Teal/Spice is a densely patterned velvet in which cool teal, warm spice red and muted neutral tones repeat in tightly packed scalloped forms. The short pile gives the surface a softly varied appearance as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

The intricate motif is formed from rows of small, downward-pointing scallops and feather-like shapes, with teal and blue-green accents threaded through terracotta, spice, charcoal and warm beige. Its rich, close-set pattern gives this colourway a layered, painterly depth rather than a flat two-tone effect. Made from 88% cotton and 12% polyester, the velvet is 128 cm (50.29 inches) wide and has a 46 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 64 cm horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care requires professional dry cleaning, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the teal depth on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, then pick up the warm spice-red notes with plain cushions, timber and aged brass. The dense repeat can also bring enveloping colour to curtains or a coordinated bedspread.
