Ladbroke Stripe Red/Green

Mulberry Small Prints FabricFD2018.V117

Ladbroke Stripe Red/Green combines narrow coral-red and sage-green stripes with a finely patterned surface, creating a softly layered vertical effect. The muted palette has a warm, gently faded character rather than a bright contrast.

About this fabric

The 100% cotton cloth is 135 cm wide and shows closely spaced vertical stripes, with delicate broken detailing visible within the green bands and a lightly textured finish across the surface. Its 20 cm vertical pattern repeat and 15 cm horizontal repeat make the design straightforward to position across curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The red reads as a subdued coral or brick tone beside the cooler sage green, while the pale ground keeps the overall colourway light. Care instructions are to avoid washing, bleaching and ironing, with professional dry cleaning required.

How to use it

Use the muted coral-red stripes to warm a pale sitting room, or pair the sage bands with chalky greens and natural wood. The vertical layout is particularly effective on curtains and upholstered pieces where it can gently elongate the form.

A softly detailed striped cotton bringing muted red and sage-green colour to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
