Floral Rococo Lovat/Red combines a warm cream ground with densely arranged rococo scrolls and bouquets in muted lovat green, coral red and soft blue-green. The overall effect is ornamental and layered, with the pale ground keeping the intricate design open rather than heavy.

About this fabric

The design features sweeping taupe-beige scrollwork, curling acanthus-like forms and repeated floral groupings, including coral and red blooms with sage and blue-green foliage. At 137 cm wide, this 100% cotton fabric has a 73 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 68.5 cm horizontal repeat, so the large-scale composition should be considered carefully when cutting. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. After-care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the cream ground to brighten a traditional sitting room, then draw out the lovat foliage in painted cabinetry or cushions and echo the coral-red flowers in piping or smaller accents. Its formal rococo scale is especially suited to full-length curtains, a feature chair or a coordinated bedspread.
