Sporting Life Antique combines dusty teal, taupe, olive and terracotta circles with finely illustrated sporting scenes. The subdued, weathered palette gives the design a richly vintage character without appearing bright or overly formal.

About this fabric

Woven in 67% viscose and 33% linen, this 138 cm-wide fabric features repeating circular vignettes of sailing, rowing, tennis and country sporting scenes. The pattern repeat measures 42 cm vertically by 46 cm horizontally, creating a medium-scale layout with plenty of visual detail. Antique taupe and soft grey grounds are punctuated by deep teal, muted olive and small touches of rust, while the surface reads as softly textured rather than glossy. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required, and it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the muted teal and taupe ground on a relaxed armchair, headboard or Roman blind, then pick out its rust and olive accents with cushions or painted furniture. Its circular sporting vignettes also make a distinctive statement across curtains or a bedspread.
