Wild Things Antique is a densely illustrated textile with a dusty antique-rose ground, filled with scrolling foliage, floral medallions, birds and animal figures. Its softened terracotta colouring gives the busy composition a warm, timeworn depth.

About this fabric

The muted terracotta and antique-rose ground is layered with rust, olive, blue-green, cream and charcoal details, while the fine textile surface gently softens the outlines of the intricate motifs. Stylised birds, big-cat figures, flowers and curling branches create a richly ornamental pattern across the cloth. Made from 67% viscose and 33% linen, the fabric is 138 cm wide with a 98 cm vertical repeat and a 138 cm horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 9,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck rub test. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Wild Things Antique on a traditional armchair or upholstered headboard, where its dusty terracotta ground can be balanced with olive, aged teal and warm cream. It also works as full curtains or a bedspread when the surrounding room is kept quieter to let the densely detailed pattern lead.

Use the muted terracotta ground to bring warmth to traditional upholstery, curtains or a layered bedroom scheme.
