About this fabric

The densely arranged design includes floral medallions, curling stems, birds and spotted animal motifs, all picked out against the subdued teal background. Its detailed 98 cm vertical repeat and 138 cm horizontal repeat create a generous pattern scale for considered placement across curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Woven from 67% viscose and 33% linen, the 138 cm-wide fabric has a softly textured, illustrated appearance rather than a flat printed look. It has a 9,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck rub test, and should be professionally dry cleaned only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the cool, muted teal as the room’s grounding colour, then draw out the fabric’s faded coral and ochre accents through plain cushions, painted furniture or warm wood. Its formal all-over ornament suits full-length curtains, a statement chair or a layered bedspread where the large repeat can be appreciated.
