Marsden`s Palm Damask Pale Poisen

Cotswolds Manor Wallpapers WallpaperZOW0119-02

Marsden’s Palm Damask in Pale Poisen pairs a luminous pale turquoise ground with deeper turquoise palm fronds and ornate damask foliage. The large-scale design is shown with a subtle vertical surface texture that adds depth without disturbing the crisp botanical outline.

About this wallpaper

This Zoffany wallpaper has a cool, lightly muted turquoise tone, with darker teal foliage creating a tonal contrast across the surface. A tall fan palm dominates the right side of the design, while the left combines scrolling leaves, flowers and symmetrical damask detailing. The wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width, a 10.05 m standard length and a 91.4 cm vertical pattern repeat; the horizontal repeat is 0 cm. Its supplied weight is 192 gsm, and the fine vertical striation visible in the image gives the pale ground a gently textured appearance.

How to use it

Use Pale Poisen to bring a fresh, cool wash of colour to a bedroom, bathroom or garden-facing room, pairing it with chalky whites, pale timber and muted teal accents. The darker palm silhouettes can also anchor brass or dark wood furnishings without making the turquoise ground feel heavy.

A cool pale turquoise ground gives the large palm and damask foliage a calm, tonal presence in classic or contemporary rooms.

Pairs well with

Marsden`s Palm Damask Pale Poisen is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
