Wisley Peacock
Sherwood Collection FabricWISLEY
Wisley Peacock has a richly patterned, traditional damask look set against a muted peacock-teal ground. The dark scrolling motif gives the design a layered, heritage feel with clear contrast.

About this fabric
Woven in 80% polyester and 20% cotton, this fabric is specified for drapes only and has a substantial handle at 501 grams per linear metre. The 137cm width and 34cm vertical repeat / 35cm horizontal repeat suit a full, repeating curtain drop. In this colourway, the teal ground reads cool and slightly subdued, while the near-black pattern sits crisply on top, giving the surface depth rather than brightness. The overall effect is traditional and formal, with a soft woven texture that feels more tailored than shiny.
How to use it
Use Wisley Peacock for full-length curtains in a drawing room, dining room or library where the deep teal tone can sit against oak, brass and stone. It also works well as a statement blind fabric, especially where the dark damask can be seen close to hand.
Pair with quiet neutrals and dark timber for a classic, tailored scheme.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wisley Peacock without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
