Wisley Silver shows a classic damask pattern in a cool, softly reflective silver grey. The design reads as elegant and structured, with the motif standing out clearly against the lighter ground.

About this fabric

Part of the Sherwood Collection by Ashley Wilde, this fabric is made in India from 80% polyester and 20% cotton. It is supplied as drapes only, with a width of 137cm and a substantial weight of 501g per linear metre, so it has the body expected of a lined curtain fabric. The visible surface has a fine woven texture, while the ornate damask motif appears in a deeper grey that gives the pattern definition without harsh contrast. With a 34cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat, the design has a balanced, traditional rhythm that suits more formal interiors.

How to use it

This cool silver-grey colourway works well in rooms that need a tailored, quieter version of a classic damask. Use it for floor-length curtains in drawing rooms, bedrooms or dining spaces where the pattern can add formality without feeling heavy.

A cool silver tone that keeps the traditional damask looking crisp and refined.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
