Marldon Silver

Albeck FabricF3701-25

Marldon Silver is a softly muted silver-grey fabric with a fine, even texture and a subtle, dry handle. The surface reads calm and quietly refined, with just enough tonal variation to keep the colourway from feeling flat.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a pale silver-grey ground with a gentle linen-like grain that gives the cloth a restrained, natural character. Woven in a versatile 145cm width and composed of 57% viscose, 21% cotton, 12% linen and 10% polyester, it has the balanced look of a smart furnishing fabric rather than a flashy decorative textile. The repeat is effectively none at 0cm vertical and horizontal, which suits the understated, all-over appearance visible here. Its cool, light-reflective tone sits between grey and soft stone, making the weave feel airy and slightly tailored.

How to use it

Use Marldon Silver on sofas, loose covers or tailored cushions where you want a pale neutral with more interest than plain grey. It also works well beside black accents, weathered oak and crisp white walls, thanks to its cool silvery cast.

A calm, versatile silver tone that lifts timber and stone schemes without feeling stark.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
