About this fabric

This 258gsm jacquard has a softly textured ground in muted slate grey, overlaid with densely curling ivory willow branches and leaves. The cool grey tone is restrained rather than stark, with the lighter foliage catching the eye as the weave shifts across the surface. Its 78cm vertical repeat and 46cm horizontal repeat give the flowing design a clear but balanced scale. With a 138cm usable width and 35m standard length, it is practical for coordinated upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Slate to bring a cool, quietly collected feel to an armchair, footstool or pair of curtains. Its slate-and-ivory contrast works especially well with chalky whites, pale timber and soft grey furnishings.

A versatile mid-weight jacquard pairing a cool slate ground with softly contrasting ivory foliage.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Willow Boughs Jacquard Slate without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
