Strawberry Thief Jacquard Mineral

Strawberry Thief Jacquard Mineral is a softly coloured woven design, with pale mineral blue-green and ivory forming a dense field of birds, flowers and curling foliage. The cool ground gives the intricate Morris-inspired pattern an airy, quietly faded appearance.

About this fabric

Ivory birds sit among stylised flowers, leaves and scrolling stems, their pale shapes standing clearly against the mineral blue-green ground. The jacquard construction gives the close pattern a subtly textured woven surface rather than a flat printed appearance. With a 256 gsm weight and 145 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric for upholstery and drapery. The pattern has a 58 cm vertical repeat and 48.5 cm horizontal repeat, so the repeated composition remains an important part of its presentation on larger pieces.

How to use it

Pair the cool mineral-blue tone with chalky whites, pale woods and soft grey-blue upholstery for a light, collected scheme. Use it on a reading-chair, Roman blind or full-height curtains where the ivory birds and foliage can be seen at close range.

Use this cool mineral-blue and ivory jacquard to bring detailed Morris pattern to upholstery, curtains or cushions without a heavy colour statement.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Strawberry Thief Jacquard Mineral without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
