Lyncombe Silver

Albeck FabricF4234-06

Lyncombe Silver has a calm, softly mottled silver-grey appearance with a fine woven texture that reads understated and refined. The close weave gives the surface a gentle grain rather than a flat solid look.

About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric is composed of 43% Cotton, 32% Viscose, 14% Acrylic, 8% Linen and 3% Polyamide, with a width of approximately 140cm and a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm, so it presents as a non-repeating plain. In the swatch, the colour sits in a cool silver-grey range with a slightly mineral cast, softened by warm beige undertones that keep it from feeling stark. The weave has a pebbled, lightly heathered texture that catches the light in a very subtle way, giving the surface depth without obvious pattern. With no performance features noted and a versatile cloth weight, it is well suited to either upholstery or drapery where a restrained, tailored finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use Lyncombe Silver to settle a room with pale timber, chalky walls and brushed metal details. Its cool-neutral tone works particularly well where you want texture and softness without adding visual weight.

A quietly textured neutral that sits easily with oak, stone and cooler painted finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
