Marldon Aqua

Albeck FabricF3701-10

Marldon Aqua is a quietly textured plain with a cool aqua-grey cast and a tightly woven, speckled surface. The colour reads calm and fresh rather than bright, with just enough depth to soften the light.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a compact basket-like weave that gives the surface a crisp, slightly tactile look. The aqua tone is muted with grey overtones, so it sits between blue and green rather than reading as a vivid turquoise. With a width of approximately 145cm and a composition of 57% viscose, 21% cotton, 12% linen and 10% polyester, it has the feel of a well-balanced decorative cloth. The repeat is vertical 0cm / horizontal 0cm approx, which reinforces its clean, uninterrupted plain appearance. It is an adaptable fabric for schemes that need colour without pattern.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored armchair, ottoman or bench where the cool aqua-grey can lift timber and stone finishes. It also works well at the window in a scheme with chalky whites, pale oak and soft navy accents.

A cool aqua-grey that feels crisp and versatile on upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
