About this fabric

This Ashley Wilde fabric is composed of 69% recycled polyester and 31% polyester, with a useful 140 cm width and a 14,000 rub test for light domestic upholstery and drapes. The surface reads as a richly layered peacock teal, softened by darker shadowy threads that give the cloth a slightly weathered, tactile depth. Its small-scale texture creates a lively but controlled pattern, and the 235 gsm body gives it enough substance to hang neatly while still feeling suitable for upholstery use. The repeating texture has a compact rhythm rather than a bold motif, so the colour appears denser and more saturated from a distance.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a compact armchair, banquette or cushion scheme where the blue-green tone can sit against oak, smoked timber or brass. It also makes a strong drapery option when you want a smart, moody backdrop with a softly textured finish.

Pair with walnut woods and warm brass to bring out the peacock depth.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Meteor Peacock without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
