About this fabric

The colour reads as a deep, cool teal-blue overall, with violet, slate and charcoal threads creating visible depth rather than a flat block of colour. Its compact, irregular weave has a softly nubby appearance, while scattered turquoise and yellow-green accents catch the eye across the surface. The small-scale texture makes the pattern feel quietly varied at close range without introducing a separate motif. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so its suitability should be considered alongside the intended upholstery application.

How to use it

Use Islabank Peacock on a reading chair, ottoman or compact sofa where its cool teal depth can sit against charcoal, weathered timber and warm neutral walls. Pick up the occasional yellow-green fleck with a small accent cushion or ceramic detail rather than matching the whole room.

A richly mottled peacock-toned weave for upholstered seating, balancing blue-green depth with lively flecked colour.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
