Islabank Orange

Lochore Meadow Fabric

Islabank Orange is a richly textured woven fabric with a warm, burnt-orange ground and closely spaced ochre and red flecks. Its small, irregular surface loops give the colour a lively, tactile depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The dense weave is built from compact horizontal rows of softly raised, nubby yarns, creating a substantial surface that reads as upholstery-friendly. Burnt orange dominates the colourway, while russet-red shading and scattered mustard-ochre flecks add depth across the swatch. The uneven yarn texture catches the light in small highlights, making the orange appear layered and gently mottled. No performance features or further specification data are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Islabank Orange to warm a reading chair, footstool or compact sofa, pairing its earthy orange-red depth with natural wood, tan leather and muted cream. Ochre accents in the weave can be echoed through cushions or ceramics without making the room feel overly bright.

A dense, nubby burnt-orange weave that brings warmth and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
