Crammond Gold

Inchcolm Abbey Fabric

Crammond Gold is a saturated, warm orange textile with a close, softly mottled surface. Its even colour is enlivened by tiny tonal shifts that keep the swatch from appearing flat.

About this fabric

The surface has a fine, low-contrast grain, giving the plain fabric a gently tactile finish without introducing a visible motif. Its terracotta-leaning orange feels earthy and sun-warmed rather than bright or yellow, with darker flecks adding subtle depth. The restrained texture makes this colourway suitable for both upholstery and drapery where a strong, grounded colour is wanted.

How to use it

Pair Crammond Gold with chalky neutrals, dark timber or aged brass to balance its warm terracotta orange. It would bring particular depth to a reading chair, upholstered bench or softly filtered curtain.

Use this warm terracotta orange as a grounding accent on upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
