Riley Orange
Delaney FabricJ0237-05
Riley Orange shows the Delaney stripe in a warm, apricot-toned palette with a lightly speckled, textured look. The narrow horizontal pattern feels bright but softly aged rather than vivid or glossy.

About this fabric
Riley Orange is a woven fabric from the Delaney collection by Jane Churchill, with a width of approximately 142cm and a composition of 33% viscose, 23% linen, 15% cotton, 10% acrylic, 9% polyester, 7% wool and 3% polyamide. The swatch shows fine horizontal stripes in glowing orange against a pale natural ground, with a slightly slubbed surface that gives the lines a relaxed, handcrafted character. The colour reads as warm apricot and terracotta rather than a strong citrus orange, so it feels sunny but softened. Its small repeat of approximately V 2cm / H 1cm supports the neat, regular stripe effect seen in the image. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.
How to use it
Use it on accent upholstery, roman blinds or cushions where the soft orange stripe can bring warmth to pale timber, stone or neutral painted walls. It works especially well in rooms that need colour without the weight of a dense pattern.
A soft, sunlit stripe that brings warmth to upholstery or curtains without feeling heavy.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Riley Orange without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
