About this fabric

This colourway in Delaney by Jane Churchill has a bright, warm red that reads more coral than blue-based crimson, so it feels uplifting rather than severe. The surface has a dry, slubbed look from the linen and cotton content, softened by viscose and wool for a slightly irregular, tactile finish. The repeat is approximately V 2cm / H 1cm, forming tight horizontal bands of dotted red that give the cloth a crisp, tailored movement. At approximately 142cm wide, and with a composition of 33% Viscose, 23% Linen, 15% Cotton, 10% Acrylic, 9% Polyester, 7% Wool, 3% Polyamide, it has the versatility to work beautifully across multiple interior uses. The fire code √BM is supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Pair this warm red stripe with chalky neutrals, pale oak and simple painted wood to keep the look light and contemporary. It also works well in a country or coastal scheme where the softened coral tone adds colour without overpowering the room.

Use for relaxed upholstery or easy curtains where the crisp stripe can add lively colour without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
