About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this Haworth fabric has a 140cm usable width and a 35cm horizontal and vertical pattern repeat, making the check easy to plan across larger pieces. The 20,000 Martindale rating and General Domestic upholstery grade support everyday seating use, while it is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery. Visually, the colourway reads as a deep wine red with earthy beige, taupe and charcoal lines that soften the tartan and keep it from looking overly bright. The surface has a lightly textural woven finish that catches the light subtly rather than shining.

How to use it

Use this wine check on an armchair, window seat or feature curtains where you want a strong country-house statement. It sits particularly well with dark oak, aged brass and natural linens, which balance the fabric’s deep red warmth.

Pairs well with warm woods and worn leather for a cosy, country feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
