About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, HEATHCLIFF Steel 2 is a versatile fabric with a 140cm usable width and a 35cm x 35cm pattern repeat. The 20,000 Martindale rating and General Domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for lighter seating use, while the treatable FR option extends its use to drapery and upholstery applications. Visually, the cloth has a dry, softly brushed appearance that suits the checked design, with the steel-grey base giving the warmer brown and blush lines a restrained, modern edge. The colourfastness rating of 5 helps preserve the cool, balanced tone in everyday use.

How to use it

Use it on a country-style occasional chair, bench cushion or relaxed curtain to bring a tailored check into a scheme without making it feel heavy. Its cool grey base works especially well with pale oak, putty neutrals and deep chocolate accents.
