HEATHCLIFF Mulberry

Haworth Fabric

HEATHCLIFF Mulberry is a muted checked fabric in warm taupe, lifted by fine mulberry and olive stripes that give the design a subtle, tailored edge. The overall effect is calm and earthy, with enough contrast to read clearly without feeling loud.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, HEATHCLIFF Mulberry has a practical 20,000 Martindale rub test and is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, making it suitable for domestic use across curtains, cushions and lighter seating. The 140cm usable width and 35cm x 35cm pattern repeat support patterned applications where the check needs to sit neatly across a larger surface. Visually, the colourway balances soft taupe and mushroom tones with plum-mulberry lines and narrow olive accents, creating a restrained country check rather than a high-contrast tartan. The weave appears smooth and compact, so the fabric reads as tidy and approachable rather than heavy or plush.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring warmth to a sitting room, study or bedroom where you want pattern without brightness. It pairs well with natural oak, aged brass and plain linens in putty, sage or deeper berry tones.

A versatile checked cloth with a soft country feel and enough structure for seating or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
