About this fabric

This velvet combines 54% viscose with 46% polyester, giving the surface a smooth, lightly lustrous handle and a plush appearance in the raised sections. The design repeats on an 18 cm horizontal and 17 cm vertical pattern, creating a large-scale wavy layout that feels structured across the cloth. In this Stone colourway, the taupe grounds the pattern while the creamy bands lift it, so the contrast stays warm and quiet rather than stark. With a usable width of 138 cm, a severe contract upholstery grade, and a Martindale rating of 100,000, it is built for demanding seating as well as treated FR drapery.

How to use it

Pair this muted taupe with limed oak, sandstone, and warm off-white walls for a refined neutral scheme. It works especially well on larger sofas or banquettes where the wavy pattern can be seen from a distance.
