About this fabric

This 387gsm fabric has a substantial, closely woven handle that makes it particularly well suited to upholstery and tailored seating. The 143cm usable width offers practical coverage for furnishing work, while the 27.6 threads per centimetre contribute to its neat, finely textured surface. There is no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, so the pale taupe-grey ground can be handled without motif matching. In the light, the tightly textured weave reads as a subtle crosshatched surface rather than a flat solid.

How to use it

Use this pale greige-taupe on a structured armchair, sofa or dining seat where its quiet texture can support stronger shapes and natural materials. Pair it with warm ivory, chalky stone, pale oak or muted bronze for a gently layered scheme.

A quiet pale greige-taupe woven for tailored upholstery, pairing naturally with warm whites, oak and stone finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
